This book will definitely bring waves of comfort and peace to anyone that has walked through the road of loss, crawled through the path of grief! You will be tremendously encouraged! My dad was shot and killed July 1991, sure wish this book was available then! It’s a great 👍🏾 blessing to have read it indeed.

I lost my beautiful, brilliant mother last year, and this book is really helping me walk through my grief process (and it also helped me to realize that my process is my process, even if it takes longer than other people's process). I've read the book once, and I'm going through it again. I highly recommend this for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.

Seven years ago, we lost our son, and just three months ago, we experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing our daughter. Walking through profound loss a second time felt almost impossible, and there were moments when hope seemed out of reach. This book met us exactly where we were. It didn’t minimize our pain or rush us through our grief. Instead, it gently and compassionately acknowledged the depth of our suffering while encouraging us to keep taking one step at a time. The author’s words offered comfort, perspective, and hope without ever dismissing the reality of loss. One of the greatest gifts this book gave us was the realization that healing does not mean forgetting. It helped us understand that we can smile again, enjoy life again, and still deeply miss our children every single day. We can honor their memories while allowing ourselves to experience joy without guilt. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone walking through grief. Whether your loss is recent or many years old, Held While in the Valley offers encouragement, understanding, and hope. It has truly changed our lives and reminded us that even in the deepest valley, healing is possible.

I am very impressed by how this author knows how to deliver calming methods and instructions on how to keep moving forward and living understanding how to grieve healthily. It is also a very easy read, if you've lost someone recently or even a while ago and you can't seem to shake the heartbreak, this book is for you.
